Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
1. What Bramblet is
Bramblet is a personal dictionary app that lets you create, connect, and share words and definitions. It is operated by Bramblet. If you have questions, contact us at privacy@bramblet.app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Bramblet. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Each account is for a single person. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
4. Your content
You own everything you create on Bramblet — your dictionaries, entries, definitions, and links between words. By using the service, you grant Bramblet a limited licence to store, display, and back up your content solely for the purpose of operating the service.
If you delete a dictionary, we delete the content. Backups are retained for up to 30 days after deletion, then permanently removed.
5. Collaboration
When you invite someone to your dictionary, they can view it. If you give them editor access, they can add and modify entries. You can remove collaborators at any time.
If you enable a public link, anyone with the URL can view your dictionary. You can disable the public link at any time.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Bramblet for illegal content, hate speech, harassment, or any activity that abuses the service or its users. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Service availability
Bramblet is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bramblet is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss or downtime. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid to use the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including Australian Consumer Law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, subject to any overriding rights you may have under the laws of your own jurisdiction.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect any changes. Your continued use of Bramblet after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
